A dear lady at the check out counter of a grocery store that I visited recently asked me completely out of the blue: “Are you old enough for baby spinach?“

I take pride in being rather quick to react to an unexpected question or statement but I must confess this one caught me thoroughly off guard.

In my defense, my coffee meter was running on the low end.

She then says, “You look quite young. I am 50 and I don’t think that I am old enough for baby spinach yet.” 

The 2 of us then burst out laughing. 
I won’t hesitate for a moment to ride the world’s most forbidding roller-coaster but this t-shirt makes me wonder…
In case you were wondering, the back of this t-shirt is far more questionable…
