Pure bliss…

The following set of concurrent circumstances occurred to me this morning that I have chosen to define as pure bliss. There will be some others in good time I am sure but this one is quite something.

Driving east along a peaceful; spacious highway with minimal traffic at 7:00 am watching a glorious sunrise with perfectly clear skies listening to John Williams’ Superman theme without any road noise due to the new road surface finish while sipping on a mildly sweetened triple espresso with Amaretto flavouring and changing lanes without feeling the jarring bumps from the lane separator reflectors.

At such times, I can gather enough courage to look the universe in the eyes and say, “Bring it!”
